Sweetened Banana with Pinipig

Minatamis na Saging Saba

Do you have lots of plantains or saging na saba? Try cooking sweetened banana with pinipig. It's a contrasting taste and I'm surprised to try it.
Steps:
1. Stir fry pinipig for 5 minutes in medium heat. Set aside.
2. Boil water and put 16 tbsp of sugar. Stir and wait for it to dissolve.
3. Add a pinch of salt and 1tsp of vanilla. 
4. Slice the banana in half and put it to water. Wait to thicken.
5. Add langka if available. Put the pinipig on top and let it cool before serving.
